Personally I would like to see Henry do the worm across the stage this Friday at Dexters, preferably in his birthday suit.

I'd pay money to see that... but I was hoping for something more realistic like a new song or two..

it's not the point of wanting to hear Henry learn new stuff ... it's whether or not he'll actually do it

I loved the 4 speed song selections from Bar A this week. Mr. Big and Gorillaz were great. How about Seether "Fake It"?

ok I don't know what happened on the Aerosmith poll topic but since this is the 'song suggestion place'- I just wanted to suggest that there are too many great songs, the band should do a medley like they sometimes do for Bon Jovi and Metallica

I would agree that Bobby is very talented, but I will never sell out my allegiances to Steve, especially not after he pushed Rob over his keyboards that one night at the Junkyard and the set abruptly ended.

I think you guys should do the 2 Love Lies Bleeding originals that SJHBNK provided to me:

To HAve You
Hate Love Anti-Star

that would be rad

I would post them, but not sure how to

I would love to see LS at Jenks in the summer sometime play an all hard rock night. That would really iritate the Benjamin-type bar goers that are down there in the summer.

Hey I like some of the songs you have suggested as well, but I understand why some songs get played and some dont, and why some songs we heard before we'll never hear from them again. Thats all I'm saying here...
They're great K-rock and G-rock songs, but it just doesnt always fly well when they're playing to a predominantly Z100 crowd.

Wasnt just referring to songs I suggested, I know some of the ones I like are not going to fly.. was just saying as a whole from all members posting there have been some good suggestions

I know, and like i said, I like some of them too. I just keep my expectations realistic...

On the flip side, I wouldnt tell anyone to stop suggesting even if they are funny or crazy. That keeps this forum topic fun...wink.gif

i'm pretty happy that song requests on here are a lost cause

Why are you happy about that??

Probably because most of them would lose the crowd. Just because one or 2 people on the forum like a song doesnt mean it will welcomed by the masses, who generally only know and like the popular crap we hear over and over again anyway.

Well i think there have been some really good song requests on here that wouldnt lose the audience..and I dont think DD necessarily knows what is the best stuff for the band to play.. just my opinion tho

Well my only complaint about this is, pretty much all of the songs that we bring up are songs that they used to play. If you listen to 92.3 at all, they play Muse constantly. As does 106.3... which are popular stations. I don't think that would be lost on the masses, but what do I know... confused.gif

I'm suggesting Muse for tonight, although I know #1 - this will not get read and #2 - it probably won't get played. But hey... just throwing it out there.

Haha oh the good ol' days at the JY. Such good memories. Like the time when the "bouncer" that looked like Corky used to hit on DeezNutz every week! And our favorite bartender would have our usual drinks for us on the bar by the time we got over there. *sigh* You don't find many places like the JY lol smile.gif

I Remember when Seacrest lost his wig wams when the bouncer grabbed him from the bar next to the stage and tossed him down the front stairs.

Then like a year later the same bouncer ripped his taking Back Sunday shirt off him as he again tossed him down the stairs.

Then the time when Corey threw some dude down the steps and broke his arm.

Love the JY bouncers!! Thanks for the memories.
